I want to invest in something unique. Any ideas?

I met a guy who invested his money into vending machines, and makes a bit of spending money from them, along with them paying for themselves. I want to do something like that that's unique but relatively productive. I'm only 15, but the only limitation that that brings with it is that I only have about $1000 to spend, and I'd rather not take a loan unless I'm rediculously positive that something will work. Any ideas for things I could manage?

People who are going to say save it, you're too young to start investing, don't bother answering, I don't care about your opinions.

Everyone else, thanks for the help.

  1. Open an account with Scottrade and trade some "unique" stocks. Do some research to find little-known yet profitable stock companies.
