I want to join dance classes how can i get my mom to let me?

See, I have want to do many activity... and one of them is dance

she always has a reason I can't but i want to do dance really bad.

My older sister got to when she was younger then me.

So, maybe if i had some good (solid) reasons why I should She will let me do dance

(the dance i want to do are Jazz,Tap, and ballet.But mostly Tap and Jazz)

You'll need to ask why she doesn't want you to dance..

if the reason is because she doesn't then she obviously can't think of a reason

try and ask/ say these sorts of things

*Mom, i dont understand why dnt you want me to dance..??

*Mom, i really want to have a chance at this and it'll be really good if you can support me.

* Mom, i dont think its fair that my sister can dance, and i can't, this is what i really want.

these sort of quotes, can get the point across..

you can also add

*I'll meet new people

*I will be able to compete with other dancers

*Its great physical activitity..

If one of the reason she doesnt want to send you is because of

*I can't afford it right now or i cant take you, im busy

tell her, that i just need you to support me until i can start working, as soon as i start working i will pay for my own classes and i will find my own way there.

*I dont think u can handle it with your studies.

Tell her that if you studies improve in the next couple of weeks, she should consider taking you.

because u want to do 3 classes,

you'll need to take it into moderation..

choose th class you really really want to take..

if its jazz then start off with jazz, after a couple of months you can ask mum about taking tap because it will improve your dancing..

tell her  that its really good for u  physically    and its fun   i had to convince one of my friends and my dad had to convince her dad  and he was like   "oh she luvs it so much and its alot cheaper than other studios  ...etc"  but also if u do other activities like basketball or something or volleyball it helps with ur skills like jumping

well for me to start dance i won a scholarship. Maybe you could have a friend whose in dance make their mom talk to yours.tell her it gives you something to do and gives exercise. tell her you will make friends and you would spend more time with her. also tell her it will make you happy and it helps relieve stress.

show her a few episodes of americas best dance crek then she will be like WHOA i want my daughter to dance like that.... and if that doesnt work just sit at home and wtach that please cuase its the most amazing show ive ever seen.

It is a fun and physical way to stay in shape.Why not,I mean these are beautiful arts we are speaking about here,come on!You can raise money if you are that desperate but the joy of it is getting to do it.Express yourself!

I'm not really sure why your mom would not want you do get involved in something like this? Dance is a great activity and keeps you healthy.

When I was younger, I did jazz, tap, modern dance, AND ballet. My mom encouraged me to do so.

I think the best way to talk to your mom about wanting to dance is this:

(a) tell her how much it will make you happy ..not that you want to dance really bad

(b) let her know that it will be something that you and her will BOTH be involved in ( recitals, practice), and how much you would appreciate her to help you accomplish this goal .
