  1. umm what?

  2. A thoughtful question......thank you.....

When you are intending to cross a street as a pedestrian, use a crosswalk.....point where you intend to go......arm extended, to inform drivers so that you remain safe.....and they feel confident about your intentions.

When riding a bike, always remember that you are the one who will suffer most if you get hit, so anticipate that drivers of vehicles might not see you (i.e. sun in their eyes, other traffic, etc)

While driving a vehicle, scan aggressively when approaching intersections, check your rear view mirror whenever you brake (and often), never pass another vehicle beside you who is stopping at any intersection, because there may be a pedestrian or a person in a wheelchair who is crossing there, and you may not see them right away....and try to be predictable yourself by signalling early enough, tapping brakes before actually slowing down, etc.

Know your Rules of the Road so you act within them.

Try to anticipate the actions of other drivers by developing pro-active habits....making eye contact with other drivers, watching brake lights of vehicles ahead, following further back so that you can see what's happening up ahead, covering your brake in congested traffic situations.

Try to make someone else's day just a little bit better by your consideration. It might be the best thing that happened to them that day.

  3. do u mean that you need to know how to be courtesy while driving or walking? well hopefully this is what you mean. Say when you are driving in a parking lot stop and let the pedestrians go by. While driving and you see someone trying to get out into the street you might want to let them in. Good luck
