I want to know That OPT for MBA students is for 12 months?

Coz I already received EAD card with 12 months validity and my university is saying that after April 9 till 90 days if you find the job then you can work for 12 months otherwise you need to go back to your home country? So can anyone guide me for this

Your EAD is valid for 12 months.

There is no time-frame in which you must get a job. For example ff you do not get a job within 4 months, then you are still legal in the United States however if it does take you 4 months to get a job, your EAD will only be valid for 8 more months.

The bottom line is this, the longer it takes you to get a job, the less time you will have to work before  returning home.
