I want to know about some recent local news. How can I find out the latest update?

A girl I know was trapped in a cave for several hours yesterday. All of the articles about it still have her trapped in the cave but they show updates being early this morning. I don't want to call my friends, who are with her, because they may be sleeping/recovering from staying up to find out what happened. It happened at devil's den state park in Arkansas.
