  1. I think you misunderstood something. When you're homeschooled, unless you're doing cyber school (which isn't quite the same), there are no cources "offered". You take the cources you want to take. As long as you can find the materials you need, that cource is available to you. And there is no "school". You're homeschooled. Home schoolers (with the exception of cyber school) aren't in any specific school.

  2. The Abeka curriculum is pretty awesome.

  3. Read books and websites and join homeschool groups/associations to learn all about homeschooling.

If you are looking for a virtual school, then you'll have to do a different kind of search.

Clarify what you're looking for and we'll be able to help you better.

  4. The best way to know "all" about homeschooling is to go to your local library and check out some books in the subject.

You can also do research about homeschoolin in your area, through a local support group or website on homechooling in your state/province.

  5. Are you asking about the best style, philosophy or curriculum? That will be some sort of compromise between what you want to do, and what your parents want you to do. Type "homeschooling" into a search engine and do some reading. We can tell you what we do, but that doesn't make it the best thing for you. I will be following The Well Trained Mind by Jessie Wise and Susan Bauer Wise. Some people do "school at home," on one extreme, and "unschooling" on the other. Most people are in the middle somewhere.

  6. You need to find out your state's laws.

Then you can choose a homeschooling method.

Then choose a curriculum. Some good providers are:

Switched on schoolhouse is a good computer based program.
