I want to know how do i loose weight ?

I exercise four times in weeek but still i am not loosing any weight please advice

  1. it could be that your body has grown accustom to you working out and therefore slowed you metabolism. This is what I've been doing and it helps me loose 1-2 lbs. a week. I keep breakfast at 400 calories or lower, then have a light snack like trail mix then i have a lunch at 440 calories, and have another snack like an apple then have a dinner thats 550 calories. my exercise routine is i do cardio 3 times a week but i shock my body so it cant "adjust" by lowering my metabolism so for example ill power walk on the treadmill, then take it up to a run, then jump on the cycle and bike a bit. I also do 2 days of strength training nothing too hardcore since muscle weighs more then fat, more  like lunges and squats with weights in my hand. and drink lots of water.

    I hope that helps, its helped me and i've lost 10 lbs already. Also get creative with your cooking, try websites like www.sparkrecipes.com to find some ways to make your favorite meals without the guilt

  3. A person can only lose weight if they are burning more calories than what they are consuming. By working out you may be eating more from your metabolism boost, plus when you gain muscle and lose fat, it  doesn't always show it on the scale. muscle weighs more but looks leaner on your body, fat weighs less but looks bulkier.

    The best way to find out if you are in fact losing weight and building muscle, is to see how your clothing fit you.

    Remember:

    CARDIO - is a great fat burner, builds your endurance, releases happy hormones throughout your body.

    WEIGHT LIFTING - builds muscle, more muscle equals faster metabolism, which in turn helps you lose weight faster.

    Be careful about your calorie intake, and make sure you're getting a sufficient amount of protein to feed your muscles.

  6. Exercise must be consistent and brisk and linked to a healthy diet.  It is a matter of calories consumed vs calories burnt.

    You need to think in exact figures and create a calorie deficit.  Sounds like hard work, but once you get the hang of it, the weight will start to shift.

  7. Depends on how many calories you burn (exercise and just moving around) and how many calories you consume (diet). If you consume less calories than you burn, your body will have to use up the stored fat as an energy source and thus you will lose weight.

    Secondly, and more importantly, how's your diet?

    Sorry to tell you this but you can exercise 7 times a week, but if your diet is still crappy, you will NOT lose weight.
