  1. Here are a couple of files that might help you out. http://www.genecampaign.org/Publication/...

  2. Don't ask us,...Ask the Earth! We are Indigenous to the Earth. It is the only truthful thing that will help you. Like everything else, life starts with a seed.

Even the small action of barrying a seed in the Earth makes a working model. The ancestors and spirits smile when you do that. That single action is like a song that sings in harmony with your genetics, it is what thousands apon thousands of generations have done before you. If it didn't work, why would we be here? Just that single action is a working model. Trust your instinkt, because your instinkt is the closest thing to Earth, Truth, and who you are.

"The Three Sisters" is a popular one.

  3. Indigenous technology would be based on where YOU are and what the population is doing. As for any modeling you have to try to build a working small scale which is difficult when you consider how big a farm is and just how hard it is to make small scale models actually work properly as well as the time to get even a representative crop to produce. In India as a model, or East Asia for that matter as many farm based areas and cultures use the same techniques you might try to have a crop area and animal production area. Part of the crop is eaten and others feed animals. Waste is collected as well as some greens and biodigesters turn that into fuel for the needs of the farm. Also you have animal and especially fowl that can be used as a simple way to feed Tilapia or bottom species fin fish. Chicken and duck pens are frequently cages over ponds to allow waste to feed fishes, and they in turn make food and added fertilizer with the manures. Think of all things in a cycle. Manure for biogas and then for fertilizer. Crops for animal food for their milk or meat. Crops companion planted for multiple purposes. Look around you. Some things lend to small modeling but hard to make working. And the type of model depends on where you are with respect to indigenous population. My ancestors, the north eastern American tribes did things different from the rice paddy cultivations of north east Asia.
