  1. There are so many insurance companies and they all cover thing differently! The price of the frames typically vary, lens prices depend on what you want. The best thing to do is call your insurance company and find out exactly what they cover and what you are expected to pay. If you are concerned about out of pocket costs, go to your doctor's office after you have called your insurance company and pick out the frame you want and talk to your optician about lenses, that way when you have your exam you know exactly what you are going to be expected to pay.

  2. I'm not quite sure about the insurance part though. But I got my Soflens Toric lenses (Bausch&Lomb) for $120 in Australia. It lasts 3 months - 1/2 weekly disposables. I brought it from my optometrist and they gave me another free pair. From now on, since I know what kind of lenses I use, I will buy from online cause its way cheaper.

  3. i have insurance and they give me free clear contacts or free glasses (no brand) if i wanted colored contacts i would have to pay watever it cost and my insurance only cover for $100 same with brand glasses
