I want to know how to download youtube files?

have tried mozilla downloader stuff, and ended up with flv files. tried another downloader helper tool which created a diferent type of file that i couldn't even open. i want to be able to download and then burn it onto dvd. have read a number of advice/recommendation sites, but it all gets too technical for me. i don't really know what sort of file i need to convert to!! i need the absolute beginners version

Hi,

You don't have to covert the flv files, you can burn it directly !

I think the easiest and fastest way is to use real player v11 or above(http://forms.real.com/real/realone/intl/...

after installing realplayer, and while you are playing the youtube video just move the mouse over the video and realplayer download icon will appear, where you can save your video.

then from real player click on burn//transfer and select the videos you want to burn.

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, on windows, never had a problem!

It will convert your video files to the dvd format readable by all standard dvd players, then burn automatically to DVD!

it is the easiest  (and also the  fastest) way.

Zillatube easily download videos from Youtube... to your computer, and more (e.g. it will help you convert them,  or  just watch them easily anytime you want).

It will also help you to easily transfer youtube video onto a cd/dvd  (in mpg or mp3 formats).

Just use it to download and convert to mpg format. Ensure you use dvd conversion setting to convert to better quality mpg video format.

Then put those videos onto a dvd with your burning suite. Usually my friends use nero though.

all you need to do is copy the url of the page with the youtube file on. then in google type in 'download youtube' click the first link and paste the url into the box. click download. you then need to right click the .mp4 link and select save target as
