I want to know if I can swap the power heads on a '86 evinrude 150hp and a 1979 evinrude 175hp?

My evinrude is a 1986 150 hp and the other is a 1979 Evinrude 175 hp with a bad power head. I want to know if I can take my 150 hp power head and put it on the 175 hp and end up with a good 175 hp evinrude?

The powerhead on an '86  150 rude and a '79 175 are similar but not the same. The bolt pattern where the powerhead bolts to the midsection is different (two of the holes don't line up). This is just the most obvious difference but there are more.
