I want to know if there are skills i can work on?

I have decided that my past is my past and I am going to move foreword to the future and still become a cop. I would like to know some exercises and skills i can work on to give me a better chance at succeeding.

You can go to the library and usually they have police books that include what to do to pass the academy. For example, they will have tests you can take that should be similar to the ones you would be doing when you apply. Also, you must remember that most of the recruits drop out because of the physical fitness portion, so you have to be in top shape. You can usually get a training sheet that gives you the exercises they will be doing in the academy at your local department substation.
