the thing is that I am going to usa for an exchange student but I want to be an actriz and I want to know if I am going to have a problem if I try to go to castings and become an actriz

  1. One of the problems you will run into is the waiting list.

    For every "actriz" employed, there are one million on the list, waiting for the job to open up.


  2. It would only be a problem if it you want to work for pay (a professional job) - for that you would need a work visa.

You can act in the schools that you attend in the US, and most towns have amateur acting theaters that I feel you could perform in.  Contact act the schools you plan to attend for more information.  there are many foreign students here and it would not make sense if they could not perform in schools.  I'm in Austin, Texas.  Good luck  --  Jerry

  4. First of all it's "actress" or "actor" (not trying to be rude). I think you might be able to become one if you have experience, such as acting classes, and it would be best you are fluent in English. Goodluck.

  5. The only problem might be a language barrier. Other than you'll do fine. There are plenty of foreign actors and actresses in the U.S.
