I want to know if this is a good idea for a 1 year anniversary?

Me and my girlfriend are going on one year next month. and i was thinking of buying her a promise ring, renting a hotel suite, and a walk on the beach.

i was thinking of buying a couple dozen roses and making a heart on the bed from the leafs and spreading out the rest all around the floor, and lighting candles all around the room. and placing the ring in the middle of the heart.

the night was going to start of buy going out to dinner and then taking a romantic walk on the beach. and then head out to the hotel.

is this a good idea or no?

Dude sounds kind of cheesy if you ask me, sounds like you took that idea from a romance novel. Think of something better then that.

This is so beautiful and romantic.  Sounds like what my husband did but we didn't walk on the beach.  However I love the beach.
