I want to know if you can be a csi if you are convicted of a felony?

i am in college at the moment trying to be or have my degree in criminal justice but like in 2005 i did a mistake with the law and now i have in my background a charge that the law named as VGCSA wich is violation of geogia control subsance act in i am a convicted of a felony but i am trying to have my degree and then try to clean my record but i dont know how far can i go.

  1. It is doubtful that any law enforcement agency would hire someone with a drug conviction, much less a felony. My friend had trouble getting hired with a reckless driving conviction.  


  2. I agree.  I doubt you will be able to find any jobs in the area of law enforcement/criminology with a felony.You may want to talk to an attorney about cleaning your record up first.  I would definately find out before you waste all your time getting that kind of degree.
