I want to know my air gun fps.?

Question

I have an air gun smaller than normal.It is a break barrel spring piston rifle.It is a .22 caliber rifle and it can penetrate 1 cm of strong wood from 15 yards range.There is no chronograph in the local shop and i don't have the box of the rifle.I want to know its fps.

That sounds about 250-280 fps... how much was it? that sometimes can help

NOTE: the box would say 250-280 because its a technical term not an estimate because it determines what bb's you use :)
