Doesn't sound like you're so "brilliant" to me.

Application numbers are so that the passport office and you can keep track of it. The passport number is the last thing attached to the application.

Almost 18 months over by your application date. I sure you got the passport and know the number. Really if you are not received your passport please contact passport office.

Go to the passport office equiry in your town. Check on the website also. May be your application is not processed yet. How can you have a passport number yet.

If you applied in April 2006, you must've got your passport by now. Look on the page where you name, photo etc. are there - you passport number will be there.

If you *haven't* got your passport yet, then I'd day you need to go to the passport office and ask them where on earth it is! :)
