Just go to the library.

Borrow books by Andersen, Grimm, Perrault.

Look up the category "fairy tales".  That's a good way to find some.

"Folk tales", "Myths", "legends", and "Tales of many lands", are other good categories to look under.

There are multiple ways to search these things.  the librarians can help you learn.

I believe it has annotated versions and alternatives to virtually every fairy tale or folktale ever written.

My favorite is "Little Red Riding Hood".  I also recommend reading the colored fairy book series edited by Andrew Lang- The Blue Fairy Book, The Pink Fairy Book, and so on.  They include a lot of the classic Grimm Brothers tales and others you'll rarely see.  They have a variety of classic fairy tales, from the sweet ones with happy endings, to the morbid ones that teach you lessons, like "The Boy Who Wanted to Know Fear".  Another good source is Spells of Enchantment, by Jack Zipes.  There are hundreds of years worth of fairy tales and legends in this source.
