  2. I second the opinion on Mattancherry.  It's a very pretty place with an interesting history.

    Do visit Jew Town.  If you want to see the synagogue cover your legs and shoulders or they don't let you in.

Kerala is a big place !! depends where you are staying, if  you are in ,or near Kovalam,Trivandrum, plenty to see and do,Lighthouse beach,elephant sanctuary, Napier museum, circular coffee house,Veli tourist park, Cochin, palaces,temples, Kathakali dancers, golf club,back waters,massage, & yoga,i have a villa & cottage in Kovalam, so much to see ,many places to go,you will never be bored, have fun
