I want to know the best time to replant a fir tree?

the fir is getting to big were it is so needs to be moved if posible

  1. If it is a conifer - Autumn or spring. If you want to move it in the Summer there are sprays that you can buy to stop transpiration for a certain time which helps the plant to establish itself.


  2. Do it this fall.   Fall planting allows the roots to establish without the added strain of sprouting growth that occurs during spring.

  3. October. Warm ground, no drought. Drought kills new trees el rapido. Use bonemeal to encourage root growth.
