I want to know what engine can i put in for my 98 eclipse rs?

What other car engine can i put in my 98 eclipse rs besides the same one? What other car has this motor?

well the 4G63t would be the best swap since they were in the gs-t factory turbo and i believe they use the same tranny and motor mounts.  u would have to build the 420a engine to handle the turbo and they are weaker then the 4g63.

Stay with the 420A and go Stage 1 Turbo! Any other kind of motor swap will invole too much money and time...might as well just go buy the car with the engine you want. You have to realize that with motor swaps a lot of work is involved such as making new motor mounts or cutting new holes in the fire wall or relocating ECU and engine accessories. All of it would have to be custom and cost BANK$$$. Like I said 420A and BOOST IT!

fit a big turbo...or a supercharger.

Those engines can take it, and ill be worth it and cheaper then a full engine replacement.
