I want to know what is the most effective way to improve the distance in which I kick an AFL footy?

  1. 2 improve kicking distance while on the run, land on ur kickin foot wen uve kicked it so ur sorta jumpin a bit but i no from experience that it works coz i can kick 40 metres on the run and 40 normally but i use 2 only b able 2 kick 35 on the run


  2. Technique, don't try and pump the **** out of it. Get the ball drop right and make sure you make good contact

    I would only ad, kick through the ball, timing is every thing, a pass,   the toe should be pointed towards the ground after the ball has left the foot,   a  longer kick, the toe will be pointing upwards, try it at training, it works.

  4. Well 2 years ago when i could only kick 20 meters, i started to not bring the ball up and not kick as hard. pretend it is a pillow and you should get a bit more distance.Now i can kick 35 to 45 metres and you follow those steps and you will kick more longer distances.
