I want to know what might be a good gift?

My legal aide just won a case for me where I might be getting a"good" amount of money. I want to get something for her and a doctor who helped me win it. What would be a nice thing to get to repay them for all their work?

Maybe you can invite them both to a nice dinner where you can tell them in person how much you truly appreciated their assistance. If you can't get them both for dinner, I would get them something electronic.

I agree that a gift card is nice and it allows the receiver some choice in what they really want to spend the money on.

I'd also recommend taking the time to invite them out (together or separately) to lunch (dinner may seem too formal). More people than you may realize enjoy spending time with others and your legal aide and doctor may be especially delighted at the option to just sit down to a free lunch and just chit-chat (or talk about the case).
