make the mistake of adding UK to anything irish/ireland.

and a passport would be your best start,,,,, you can get it expediated these days,,,,, in case ya got to have it sooner than 6-8 weeks.

and if ya already have it,,,,,, well,,,, pick a date and book that flight.

Firstly, you are visiting your Uncle in DUblin in Ireland. Ireland is not part of the UK and we spent many many years trying to amke this happen so I don't think many Irish poeple would appreciate being told they are part of United Kingdom. To come here on a holiday is as simple as booking flights, you might find they are a little expensive as from America the flight can be up to 11 hours. Hope you enjoy your stay, and why not look up some irish websites for Dublin and get an idea of the place before you come.
