While this is technically illegal, you can do the following: Download real player (free).  The later versions have a feature where you can download any flash video off of the internet.  Then go to YouTube and search "john mayer say".  Click on the first video that comes up.  Hover your cursor over the video and then click "download this video".  And voila.

I don't know any way you can do it without software.  You can't even use a computer without software.
