I want to know if one family can live and manage in bangalore comfortably(not luxurily) with a salary of rs.20000/-pm.I hope you guys will help.

family's r surviving  with a salary of  2000 to 10000 thousand in bangalore .......I hope u & ur  family can live in bangalore comfortably(not luxurily) with a salary of rs.5000/-pm.

Well are you sure you want to live a life of luxury or comfortably. With 20 grands i'm sure it will be luxury. First of all a 2BHK house rent depending on area will come up to 5000-6000 plus electricity anywhere within 600 water 350. Your family expenditure say comes up to 3000 of groceries other miscellaneous expense 2000. Other contingency expenses 3000 still you will have around net savings of 4500. I'm living in bangalore comfortably with a salary of 12000. There are people who live with a salary of even 5000. It all depends on your perception here you can spend lavishly also be stringent in your spendings. Remember its wise to spread your legs till the edge of your bed if you spread beyond that you are the person feeling cold.

yep! definitely u can survive in bangalore with 20k... it is not so expensive like mumbai city... good luck and it is good place to live..
