I want to know which is the best contemporary music collage in England?

I would like to study a career in music as a compositor, songwriter and performer in England, but I have no idea where to start my search for the best or one of the most recognized institutes in this country. It would be really cool if I can have a list of universities in this subject, and even better if they are located in London or Liverpool.
