  2. Rocky "The Brockton Block Buster" Marciano

    born Rocco Francis Marchegiano

    September 1, 1923 – August 31, 1969

    49-0

    43KOs   6 decision

  3. Casius Clay - ALI

  4. Salvador Sanchez..

  5. dont do your homework on a fighter from your granndaddys era (ali) do it on a fighter from our era (oscar de la hoya).  HUMBERTO SOTO!!! is my favorite fighter, but i think you should do it on the Golden Boy or Roy jones Jr. all the info you need on any fighter is on wikipedia.

  6. "Sugar" Ray Robinson (Walker Smith jr.)

Amatuer Record: 85 wins (69 by KO) with 0 Loses

    Professional Record:

173 wins (108 by KO) with 19 Loses (1 lost by TKO) drawn 6 and 2 no contest =  Total of 200 fights

    Professional Career Span: 1940- 1965 (25 years)

    Five time world champion

Fighter of the year for 1942 and 1951

In 200 pro fights, he never took a 10 count knockout. Everytime he gets KO'd he would always stand back up. The only technical knockout was due to exhaustion from fighting Joey Maxim at Light Heavyweight, 45 pounds heavier from Robinson who started out at Light Weight.

He was undefeated in his first 40 fights than lost to LaMotta by decision and than was undefeated for his next 91 fights.

He fought Hall of Fame fighters like Jake LaMotta, who he fought 6 times and won 5, and Carmen Basilio twice.
