  1. Probably to do with a home game and the fact that the Saints have a few injury woes.

  2. Port are a really good team, i guarantee they will be in the finals and won't be easy beats. People bet to win money and the smart money will be on Port just like it will be on the swans to beat North. Brisbane might surprise you a bit in the near future too because people know they will make money from them winning.

  3. its in adeilaide so they will get a heavy advantage but you never know with st.kilda they can produce something good or play really badly.

I believe St. Kilda will win this week.

  4. saints are not very good plus port is at home and will win.

  5. becos of saints injury list and sants have a bad interstate record.

But saints will win i mean port cant get their act together

they could barely thrash west coast i mean come on west coast's score at 3 quarter time was 15 wen against the swans

its the lowest ever 3 quarter time score!

They cant kick goals for a first. Plus saints have baker bk hav a much better forward line than port.

  6. There is NOWAY power will win but i think it will be a tough game i have no idea why they are faves mite be coz they are at home

  7. Look romper, the bookies put odds on games even before anyone's put a bet on. They've got their own rough ideas and then the odds are changed slightly depending on the amount of money that is put on either team. Port are favourites cos they're at home. they played good against brisbane but lost their way and they won last week. Saints i think aren't firing on all cylinders atm. I tipped port.

  8. Romper is spot on

favourites are only favourites because of betting trends

that's how bookies try to don't lose money

  9. Are its a port home game and the saints played a lack luster team on the week end thats why Port are Favourites

  10. the saints are definetley guna win. Ports not too good atm. and heaps of Port fans have been tipping Port to win. of course your guna tip your fave team.

  11. I swear I was thinking the same thing when I saw the odds...lol

    I'm dumbfounded.

    There goes my tipping season...lol

  12. Probably because the saints are missing Adam Schneider and Steven King... and also his ruck partner Michael Gardiner may or may not be playing... combined with Port Adelaide's win last week and their history of beating StKilda.

but, really, it doesn't matter why the odds are the way they are though.... the saints will win :D

(St Kilda by Under 39.5 points is my (betting) tip for that match... but remember there are NEVER any certainties and gambling is bad)

  13. Mate, i wouldn't bet on either, anyone could win, but it won't be close, i'm saying Port at home and Saints don't have Shneider

  14. Mate you are missing something, the power of deduction, as i told another asker of a similar q last week, it makes no difference where teams are on the ladder, it is all about the money put on at the TAB. or where they bet, there are probably stacks of power fans who have put money on them, so that shortens the odds, if someone comes out and whacks a million ON the saints the bookies c**p themselves and the odds for the saints would drop, get it, it's not too hard to understand, more money on a team, the shorter price they become.
