I want to know why some people are taller than orther people?

It is a matter of gene work, the genes of tall are cumulative, means more Genes you got from parents is more taller you are. But you never can know what is the behavior of genes combination between father and mother so it is not accurate to predict the offspring characters.

In the other hand the mutations which can hit some genes and gives unexpected characters.

And yes all of that is controlled by Allah.
