Question:

I want to learn german?

but im not sure what to do

my dad says watch german movies but that wont help me get the meaning i mean ive been listening to german stuff and i know little stuff but thats because i got the song translated by someone who knows german and english does anyone know any simple stuff if you speak german fluently and know how to pronounce them cause i cant tell by reading really.

  1. try BBC languages keep your headset on try google languages too lan


  2. Start with Vocabulary. Use flash cards they help

    then grammar

    then practice usally in germany or switzerland

  3. German classes or Rosetta stone.

    Also, the people that did ChinesePod and SpanishPod (I listen every day) are going to be launching GermanPod soon.  It's a daily podcast of varying difficulty levels that really teach you the nuts and bolts of the language

    Their really good. Maybe buy it from a bookstore orrr go to the library and borrow one :]

  6. you can buy cds for learning languages. they usually come with a book too. that way you see them written and hear them spoken.
