If anyone else knows other good places that sell keyboards please let me know.

If you could also number the keyboards 1-6 with 1 being the best and 6 the worst, that would really help alot also.

Thank You

  1. try to stay away from yamahas, they don't really specialize in one certain area so the quality there is  good but you want something that is known for being a good keyboard, not for atv's , and everything else, etc.... and if you can try to buy from a music store and try avoiding places like best buy, don't get me wrong i love best buy, just not for musical instruments, your best bet in my opinion i've been dealing with instruments for close to 10 years now would be the casio, i have one just like it , and it works beautifully for what i want to do and is the correct price, hope this comment helped...

  2. I did not even try your links - because there is other advice I can give you.  First of all, there are people who have GOOD keyboards, and want to sell them to get something ELSE - and they are motivated to sell theirs for very little.  You are not going to get much for under $150 - NEW - but check yard sales, Craigslist, ebay - THIS is the kind of thing that you can find a sweet deal on!  If it is mussing its power supply - easy to match up the right kind at any Radio Shack.  Get at LEST 61 keys - 76 is better - and 88 is best yet.

You can poke around at Sweetwater and Musicians Friend - they certainly have a lot of MY $$$ over the years.  But  try the above advice first - I know it sound dopey and simplistic, but in THIS case, if you keep your eyes open - or GET HELP from someone who knows - you can get a sweet deal.

  3. uhh the best way to go is to ask the person that works at the music store were you are going to buy it what the es keboard is that is under $150 dollars..

  4. Some of the links you listed are broken, so I cant do that =(.

However, if you're looking for a beginner's keyboard, I would say your best bet is to go for a Yamaha. They are a well known, popular brand, for a reason. Furthermore, the quality of their instruments are also quite good. I myself own several Yamaha instruments, including a keyboard, and I have been satisfied with it for several years.

Good luck, and Hope I helped!
