Does anyone know of any free websites with lessons for playing the piano or tutorials to play popular songs? I can play part of Wait for You and all of Boston, but don't know any others.

Thanks/

  1. You can buy book to help you to learn if you can't afford lessons. Check your local bookstore.

  2. You could try looking up "piano lesson" on youtube.

  3. If you ask around I'm sure someone will know how to play. It is very common everywhere! Ask them if they will give you free lessons. And if not, ask them if you could do yardwork in exchange or something like that... You could always teach yourself, which is what I did. Or purchase some books and check out some Piano Beginning websites, books, magazines, etc... There's tons of stuff out there for people wanting to learn to play piano.

Hope this helped and good luck! :)

  4. buy piano books and DVDs

  5. sweetie, you don't need lesons!

i taught myself! i play clarinet, and sax, so i already knew how to read music.

well, do you know how to read music? because that is a big part of it. playing by ear is cool and all, but knowing the correct notes is key.

once you know how to read the music, learns what the keys on the piano are. i took eyeliner and wrote out the keys CDEFGAB over and over again, until the keys were all marked.

ps: i can play boston too! by augustana. :)

and if you want to learn a song, try "Intensity in Ten Cities" by Chiodos. or "pulling a piano from a pond" by cinematic sunrise.

    they have great piano parts.

    goodluck!
