I want to learn how to wakeboard? Where do I start?

I want to know everything I need to start.. I have a 24' sea ray boat.. Is that ok?

The way I learned was to just do it. I bought a wakeboard, watched an instruction video on the internet on how to get up and just taught myself. It just takes time on the water to get good.

im sick of answering these questions you get a wakeboard at academy if your are a beginer or wakeside ect and get up

You need to first find a board that is made for your weight.

Then find a good ski rope, if one didn't come with the board.

The best way to learn how to wakeboard is to bring some friends with you who know how to wake board because they can tell you what you are doing wrong.

Just be patient, over time you will get comfortable getting up and sooner or later you may be very skilled.

a 24 sea ray boat will work very nicely =]

well, if you have a locally owned water sports shop nearby that is a great place to visit partially because they're nice and they give a lot of advice. as for a board where i go they let you try out boards and bindings. The rope... u can use anytype of rope but the best is a (you guessed) it wakeboard rope.

Hyperlite usuaully has some great instructional videos. but then again the last one i watched was from 93. thats the best i can do as for your question good one!
