  1. If you to learn how to box the right way then definitely take lesson, if you just want to learn to fight your friends will do lol.

  2. Join a boxing club and learn from a professional certified boxing instructor.

  3. TAKE LESSONS

  4. contact  your closest Boys and girls club, and ask about a boxing club.

  5. yes if you want to learn boxing i would say it would be best to go to a gym and sign up and take lessons.dont take lessons from people who have never boxed because thats just retarded lol.BTW I wouldnt advise boxing with your friends too much because lately there a been quite a few deaths related to boxing for fun in peoples living rooms

  6. boxinggyms.com

  7. no your guy friends cannot teach you to box unless they are boxing trainers. As for no one wanting to hit you that can be a god to have an intimidation factor when you fight but guaranteed this will be different and not work without talent to back it up if you compete in competition as an amateur boxer. Don't fight your friends and get to a boxing gym where you can get real training if boxing is something you want to learn.

  8. boxing is a very tough sport be sure your ready to make a HUGE commitment to it before you take the step to being a boxer. Its an enormous amount of work and effort with constant training.

but even if you do want to just have a shot at it DO NOT let your friends teach you. (unless they have lots of boxing experience)

the techniques used in boxing must be practised for years to perfect and I doubt your friends will have this so go to a club and start from there.

    good luck

  9. nice move, you already sound like a punch bag. have you ever heard of head trauma.

  10. its not all about knowing how to throw punches its doing excersize and lots off it that makes boxers as good as they are if you want to learn boxing and its somethin you really like id say give it a go join a club!! it takes alot of effort to get anywhere in it though and you need to get fit before stepping into the ring or you wont get nowhere so you will be doin excersize for quite a while at the start but it gets better!!!

  11. learn that in the boxing ring i don't think they would be afraid to hit you..i don't know if your cut out to be a boxer...most people only look at the fighter when they get into the ring and forget the continuous training.

Boxers are not made they're born. You dont sound like you have the desire to taste a knockout punch. I tried for a month and all i did was run and learn how to throw a jab...its not easy

People who have never boxed should not coach

  12. go to a nearby boxing gym, it is safer and you will get real competition, i was in a similiar situation and what goes on in a boxing gym made backyard boxing matches look like two five year olds slapping each other, but boxing is very dangerous and shouldnt be done without the supervision of a ringside doctor or a legitamate boxing trainer, someone could get seriously injured, i.e. broken nose, broken jaw, etc.
