Learn on an acoustic guitar first.   As the old saying goes.   Learn to walk before you can run.   Besides learning to play on an acoustic won't aggravate people like a amped up electric.

Be careful buying a cheap guitar.  The frets could be off making tuning or playing difficult.  Another old saying:  You get what you pay for!

I started out learning with an acutsic, now with an electric guitar.

Decent kit for a beginner. Guitar tuner, picks, stand for the guitar, music books, case, ect. r needed.

But in my opinion, you should buuy it in a music store.

In case tthey might rip you off with a bad quality guitar.

never buy guitars from places like wlamart, target...they are cheap c**p you can still get a good guitar at a music store for a low price and it wont be as cheap as the one at target.

absolutely.starting with the basic hardtail or tremelo bridge is great. As you progress you will find your style.you may be a soul player like slash and get a tuneomatic guitar becuz u do bends alot. You could be a guitarist like me be get a floyd rose for speed and a great whammy bar. Or you could upgrade your "general" style nd get a tremelo like a strat.                                                                                                        P.s. Floyd rose, tuneomatic, and tremelo are bridges. Tuneomatic guitars include gibon les pauls. Floyd rose include ibanez prestige (mine) nd the eddie van halen Frankenstein. Tremelos are stratacasters be their relatives. All but tuneomatic have whammy bars.

its a bottom of the line beginners starter pack... you'll enjoy it at first but once you get better you'll be wanting a different guitar.
