  1. No....You're not too old.

  2. You are not too old.  Get private lessons from a good music teacher.

    And have fun with it!

  3. of course not. just go to a professional musician and learn .

  4. No way, it might be harder to train the brain to learn certain skills such as languages / music after childhood but a desire to learn can more than make up for that.  Good luck

  5. Your never "too old" to do something, unless it's like sports or something. If you start younger with it, it feels more natural, and you learn things more quickly when you are young. I've been playing since almost the 1st grade, so about... 7-8 years, I'm more competitive with it, but that's only because that's what all of my teachers have done with me and it isn't as... noticably competitive. If you want to play it just as a hobby that's even better, you just have to make sure to keep it up and not say after 2 months of not playing, I want to play a song. And don't think it's going to be easy, I would reccomend getting a teacher for the first year or so, just to know the basics, it's better than trying to learn it all on your own, there's rythm, notes, keys, that kind of stuff. It's a lot of fun though.
