I'd like to be near a coast or at least within driving distance. I'm open to living overseas, but should focus on the U.S. because of family.

  1. california should be considered

  2. new england for sure, its got everything plus al lthe seasons. connecticut!!

  3. If you like 4 seasons, Md is place for you. We're between NY and DC (closer to DC tho')

If you have a chance to live overseas, try it. Family will be here when you get back.

  4. Come to the NYC Area!

    EAST COAST, BABY!!!!

  5. Go to New York city. i know its a cliche but its culturally  diverse, liberal and great. if you have the money go there. Its what the midwest secretly aspires to be like!

  6. someplace warm! it's -12 in MN today with -30 wind chills!!

I head san diego  is nice. Just be prepared for the cost of living increase.

  7. move to newport beach in california its a great place!!!

  8. virginia sucks... so don't move here... try florida. its fairly cheap to live there... and the weather is almost always nice... and you are right on the water.

  9. Austin TX. Live music capital of the world. Low unemployment rate. We live a few hours from the coast and a few (well maybe 8-10) hours from the ski slopes. There is alot of cool stuff for youngsters to do in the city but also fun for the family in festivals. parks and day trips to historical site. Loads of camping and lakes if the outdoors is your thing. College Town with a bit of sophistication!

  10. MARYLAND....

    we have it ALL

    mountains, city, country, beach.....

  11. It's hard to say.  It depends on so many factors; what activities do you enjoy? Skiing, or surfing?  What is your career?  How important is affordable housing??

My feeling is that life is defined by the experiences you have so you should have as many, and as wildly varied, as possible.  The midwest is a slower paces of life so why not try San Francisco or New York City for awhile?  If not that perhaps Florida or the Pacific Northwest.  It all depends on what's important to you.

  12. Move to Florida I love it there :-) I would move there in a heart beat if my husbands job wasn't here.
