  1. *Ask about in your new town.

*Also make a whole lot of flyers saying you are after a job.

*Do a letter box drop of say 1000 places offering your services.

*You should get a least a 1% response ie 10 callers offering you part time casual or full time work.

  2. I just graduated from an industry that requires me to move from where I am living now.  After I fix my portfolio, I'll be looking for jobs in the closest major city from where I am now.

So my advice if you are already in a career, research where you want to live that looking for people with your specification, cost to move, cost of living in city, and social scene/culture.

  3. The best way is organise a job first by using online job advertisements such as career one or seek, Jobs are listed by location. You should set aside maybe 2 days to go down for final interviews as initial interviews can usually been over the phone.

  4. Best way to get a job is probably looking online through seek.com.au or even mycareer.com.au, also looking through the local papers (for where youre planning on going) in the classifieds. Depending what sort of job you want you can go bold, and just put in your resume/CV to places you would like to work. Also you could look specifically at company websites for their employment opportunities (they may not show up on seek.com.au etc).
