I want to let my dwarf hamster loose in my room but i just dont want him to get away?

Dwarf hamsters are VERY fast and should never be loose, even if they are supervised. The best way to let them explore outside of their cage is to put them in a ball, they are pretty cheap at Petsmart, only about 8$ canadain. NEVER let your dwarf hamsters loose, they are so small and so quick, they could EASILY slide under the door if you took your eyess off them for 2 seconds. You might not find them again. You can also buy them a play pen.

Well dont let it out of your sight, and just in case i would close your door, close all smaller gaps into places you cant reach like behind your bed, under a tv stand etc.

just let it run around it wont get far and also watch it all the time like where is it going cuz i always let my hamster run around but i have to be careful if it gets into some thing.......

You should buy a hamster ball. That way he can be free but you don't have to worry about him getting lost or damaging anything.

I wouldn't let a hamster have free reign of a bedroom. They are so small and there are so many things that can hurt them.

If you're looking for a safe place to play with your hamster and don't have a hamster playpen that you can get in with them, then the bath tub - NO WATER AND DRAIN IN PLEASE - makes an ideal hamster safe playpen.

You must always watch your hamster - even in an exercise ball or a pet playpen. Dwarfs especially can get stuck in the playpen bars.

Never let your dwarf hamster run loose they are way to delicate get a play pen or make one. Here is the one I have http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.js... I once let my dwarf hamster lose in my room and he got hurt really bad and he died instantly, to let a dwarf hammie loose is stupid and not worth the risk. Get a little play pen its worth it and can save his life.
