I want to lighten my scar?

i have a scar n its in a place thats not covered alot, but its not a cut scar its a burn....is there a way i could lighten this scar?...its dark n i want to lighten it so its pretty close to the same color as the skin around it.

eventually it'll get lighter on its own (as your skin heals itself) and it'll go a white-ish colour.. unfortunately you can't control the end colour its going to turn...

I've been trying Bio-Oil, but so far it hasnt done much...

Try Mederma. It's like 30 bucks but its so worth it and it works. You can buy it at Wal-mart
