Even though you may have written your question incorrectly it doesn't matter.

If you want and truly like the Red Sox by all means follow them and be loyal through thick and thin.

Red Sox nation does not just exist in the Boston area but all over the country.If you ever watched any of their games you would hear them loud and clear.

Ohhh, I feel sorry for you, that must really suck...I'm a huge Red Sox fan, and I don't like the Yankees. but I'm from Boston, so its acceptable here. If I lived in New York, I'd get killed!

Don't you mean Boston, if you from New York, you would be cheering for either the Mets or Yankees. The Red Sox last time I checked, they don't play thier home games in New York, but in less somebody moved them from Boston to New York without somebody telling them.
