  1. Study a book of standard chess openings.

    Try to get the openings down pat. This will

    give you more time for the "middle" and

    "end" game.

    Nobody, not even the grand masters, try to

    limit every more to one minute.

    If you're thinking chess tournaments, you're

    pointed in the right direction by heeding

    clock time.


  2. you need to purchase a clock that is used for chess and set the time of the game that you want. I have never heard htough of a clock that sets the time required to make your move but there might be something available.

  3. They call this speed chess.  Any game store can sell you a chess clock designed for just this purpose.  Or check online.

  4. Try making a random move.
