I once lived in North Carolina. The temperature was nice, but the humidity level was too high. I also lived in Las Vegas. The humidity level was perfect. However, it was too HOT for what I am currently seeking. Any ideas?

  1. I would suggest Dallas, it is only hot for about 2 months in the summer and it never really gets cold.

Reno is nice (I've lived there) but I wouldn't exactly call it a warm climate.  You will get a hot summer and a cold, snowy winter.

Now I live in Oklahoma City and it is pretty much what you are looking for climate-wise, but not really an interesting city.  Tulsa, on the other hand is awesome, I love it there and plan on moving there when I'm out of college.

I have heard Albuquerque NM is nice and not as hot as you would expect.  Good luck!

  2. florida

  3. What ever you do, don't move to Austin, TX. Today it got to 102 degrees with 84% humidity.

  4. What about the higher elevations of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico? Flagstaff, Reno...

Or try the valleys of eastern Washington and eastern Oregon. It may get cool in winter though.

If you like all four seasons, South Dakota has the perfect climate and is really not as cold as people think it is.

  5. Any city on the coast in California.

  6. California is warm, sometimes hot, but it can get muggy from the pacific ocean.  I'd suggest maybe someplace in Texas or like missouri or tennesse, maybe Austin or Dallas Texas

  7. barrow, alaska. it's dry and not as hot as arizona

  8. North of 'Vegas towards Reno is nicer and still on the dry side of the sierras.Try near Hawthorne NV.

  9. Lake Havasu City.
