  1. You need to know his full name and date of birth, his race and approximate age at your birth.

Register with the The International Soundex Reunion Registry (http://www.isrr.net) is a non-profit, tax exempt, humanitarian agency founded in 1975 by Emma May Vilardi. ISRR is a mutual consent reunion registry for persons desiring a reunion with next-of-kin.

This agency serves the needs of family members who have been separated from each other by adoption, divorce, foster care institutional care, abandonment, etc.

ISRR is not affiliated with any other registry, organization or website.

  2. This is a tough one.  What info do you have?  Also are you sure you want to.  I was abandoned by my father and he tried to come back into my life at age 18.  I just can't be around someone that is that irresponsible.

  3. I'm sorry to be harsh about this, but if your father isn't around now then he probably doesn't want you.

  4. Know how you feel, but free resources? That is going to be long, tedious, full of nasty surprises and in the end incredibly frustrating.

The cheapest shortest legal route to what you are looking for will set you back 50 bucks (I joined by the way), which is way cheaper than the waste of time and frustration piled upon frustration through any other route, and it goes through this site:

    http://www.courtrecordsregistry.org/loca...

If you do find an easy free route, let me know, I'd like my sock to blow off when I check it out, ^'cause that is what will happen when I see it.

Good luck in your search, I did hit paydirt when I did mine, hope you do too.
