I want to look very dressed up @ at a party so what do i wear ?

i want to look nice....i like dress clothes but I'm not really in to it...i usually wear jeans and a dress shirt but i want to look nice so what store do u think i should go and get some nice black jeans or some thing....i would prefer JEANS and not slacks....but i guess what ever is fine

don't wear black jeans. wear khakis or cargo pants, by american eagle or somewhere like that. wear a button-up short or long-sleeved shirt with stripes going down, or plaid. go to tj maxx, marshalls, or american eagle (if you have the money). i get a lot of ae stuff at tj maxx and it's really cheap.
