sooo i want to really loose weight! i know the types of excercise i need to do to get the body i want, but not the right foods!!!!! or how much of the foods i should eat! HELP!

im 17 and a vegetarian. im kinda picky too. theres lots of foods i dont like. like peppers, tomatoes, onions, olives, the list goes on....

but the healthy foods i DO like are:

basically any type of fruit, salads (but with ONLY ranch...which i hear isnt healthy) rice cakes, oatmeal, cherrios, 100 calorie popcorn, yogurt, celery w/ peanut butter, boiled eggs, toast (white, whole wheat) and peanut butter, tea, corn on the cob, vegan cookies, granola...

do you have any suggestions as to what kind of foods i should eat each day? and what kind of foods i can have every once in a while? and how many calories i should intake each day and how many i should aim to burn each day?

  3. Well, you can count carbs, but that's no fun.

Basically, look at what you are eating and ask yourself "is this good for me?"

Everything that you listed as healthy foods that you like are good.

Eat a good salad for dinner, have a cheese or peanut butter sandwich for lunch, and a yogurt for breakfast.

Don't eat really heavy dairy foods though.

Eat more veggies than fruits, snack of some good celery.

When you are feeling hungry, drink a glass of water. Do you feel fuller now? Half the time people associate hungry with thirst so they eat when really, they were only thirsty. Remember that, good luck!
