  1. That sounds like a reasonable goal, if you actually do need to lose 45 pounds.

Keeping a food journal really does help.  It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.

Make a few small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days.  Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer.

Start a weight lifting routine. It will help increase your metabolism and make you feel and look better in so many ways. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall.

In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Drink plenty of water. You will begin to see changes in your body.

Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc.  Here are a couple of helpful links.

  2. I think you are the first person on here that i have seen set an attainable weight loss goal!!!  I think it would be totally possible, just keep eating better and working out.  Just this past year i lost 30 lbs just a bit over 3 months. So your goal is withing reach...

    Good luck!!!!

  3. Sure! That's a reasonable goal.  It'll be tough so don't give up!!

  4. yeah sure its possible

  5. Yes, that's very possible.  For healthy weight loss (and you have time to do it the healthy way), check out the "Eat Healthy" section of the site below.  For rapid weight loss, check out "Diet Plans."  5-4-3-2-1 diet is my favorite of the "drastic diets."  You'll find lots of great info. on the site that can help you.  Good luck!!

  6. Yes that is very good. This may be hard to believe but one of my friends lost 127 pounds in a year. If he can do that im sure you can loose the 45. =)

  7. omgg

ur crazy moving to england haha

    only joking, i live here.

and it depends how much u weigh because bigger people tend to lose weight easier, but it is possible!

2 lbs a week is good and you can lose 45 lbs in 6 months by losing 2 lbs a week.

    good luck x
