I want to lower my car by at least 1 inch or 2. But I don't want it to feel bumpy. I dont know if I am explaining it right. You know when the springs are stock you just go by humps and bumpy roads and don't feel anything but on aftermarket springs that are lowered you feel them a lot. Is there anyway I can lower the car without it being bumpy??

  1. yes, you gotta get a complete kit. coilover kit

  2. of course check on ebay..it only gets hard and bumpy when u go to rise up vechials like trucks! check around for some lowering kits!

  3. use lowering springs, most are not much stiffer than the stock, they just have 1-3 less coils.  After those are installed do not forget to trim your bumpstops, trimming these will increase the travel of your car before it bottoms out, making the ride smoother.  You can also buy new smaller bumpstops instead of trimming them.

  4. you did not give enuff info.

    is it red, white, blue?

    my car has shocks,

    my sister's car has struts

    my brother's car has both.

    my nephew has no car.

    does this help??

                           "BRILLIANT"!!!!

  5. i guess just get softer springs that are lower.

but the reason why most lower aftermarket springs are bumpier is because a stiffer suspension gets better braking and handling. meaning a more sports tuned suspension.
