  1. Visit your local health food store.  Niacin tablets help lower triglycerides and flax seed oil and fish oil is good, too.  Niacin can cause a flushing sensation in your face, so it's best to take it at night before bed, or get the 'no flush' niacin which wont cause that.  My husband's doctor has him on niacin for high triglycerides.  Someone at the health food store or a pharmacist will be good people to get information from or your doctor if youre looking for natural ways to lower it.  Try cutting back on red meats and milk products.

  3. My triglycerides go up when I eat sausages and meat made from sttuffing something, but go down when I cut or diminish them. The wheat doesn't cause this trouble nor doesn't solve it. It's harmless and healthy unless the be greasy.
